  • "You painted a truly vivid picture in this one. It was hard not to put yourserlf in the piece, and by hte time I got to "And all I really want to do is stand up with a clean heart and empty stomach, wipe my mouth, find my way home, and write something beautiful" I couldn't help but feel so empathetic and felt like I needed the cleansing too. This was truly engaging, exquisitely done."

  • "(I am still lost for words, or do not dare to speak) Made me pause a little, like I should not read on, very effective. I am glad you posted this, it is so honest and a beautiful piece."

  • "Lovely, eloquent write. It certainly does have a "yesteryear" feel. Exquisite imagery. I too like the crayon stanza. "drawing dreamworlds, weaving images of having you in cafes with tea, and maybe some scones--is my favorite part, love the word play."

  • "this is like a gothic victoriana painting...slightly raphealesque...like a Waterhouse indulgent.- -- beautifully rendered and captivated. love the crayon strophe. +ness"

  • "lol...you can tug at my heart anytime with your poetry...your writing is so very beautiful and only someone with a cold heart would not be able to feel the emotions that you write with. When I can be pulled into the poet's heart and feel what they want the reader to feel or experience...then I know it is truly an exquisite write. So it is not you that should be saying thank you, but I...Thank you! ~Lavenia"
