- "Alas, i am 40...which made me 10 and American in the fucking 80's...which, i might add, was when Hendrix's dream died and we were left with men who didn't know how to wear make~up right...oh, and Whitney Houston. Gawds...is this any better than that was? Still good for a giggle. Cheers."

with someone equally undeserving
and new" - hell yeah! This was an awesome piece...I remember the feeling so well... Ciao, T/S"

- ""word vomit
carefully packaged
perfect distraction" - that sums it up quite nicely. It is indeed the society of the spectacle...which can never turn itself off...never just let overpriced groceries be what they are...positioned in prominent places on shelves for a fee... "There, there, your life isn't so bad...Lindsay Lohan is *%$&ed...you aren't *%$&ed are you?" Except for that overpriced $%#@ you are about to eat... : ) The lady ringing you up had to come out of retirement cause she's broke...and you've been standing here for 20 minutes in line cause they are too cheap to hire enough underpaid cashiers like her...but at least you're not Lindsay Lohan...and if you can pass judgement on her, you are better than she is...you're not *%$&ed at all...

- "Wow...yes..This feels completely raw and it is written forward and blunt, which is just as it should be. This was very well written"

- "...what you didn't choose to type... painful, yes, but the crux. "I choose to remain still and stoic.....sunk into the category of every unknown woman". In the old days, this would have been cradling a handset, listening to the silence after dialing all but the last digit... yes?"
