A Moment Of Clarity...

By Deadly Embrace

I've tried so many times
to paint this picture,
of what I wish my life to be.
But unfortunately nothing
comes into place,
but bitter jealousy.
The marks have yet to be made,
Only unfolding with time,
But even in time
I have yet to understand
this constant confusion of mine.
But I know time is changing,
and I have nothing left to hide,
No longer am I that horrific reflection,
of a little girl that constantly crys.
You're the light to my darkness,
my path to salvation
My reasoning to feel free,
With just one smile placed upon your lips,
could forever complete me.
I love you so much it hurts,
If only you knew,
That everything in life,
my purpose..
my reasonings..
it's all for you.
I wish so much to tell you these things,
I wish that you could just see,
That every second,
every moment with you,
is all I need for clarity..

This tastes like dark, rich honey, an antidote to the sourness in life. Magic.

Just glides along like silk, and tastes like fresh air. Very pretty piece. Clean and neat. Nice composition, and I loved the freeverse rhyme. Always have enjoyed that style of poetry. Good on ya.
