The Child's Heart

By manunkind

A luminary stands upon the hill

And hums, calling to the

twilight.

The tune

Charms the mind

And sways its notes,

Sliding down

the throat-

Slithers into heart.

Violet kisses

Blossom,

Skin is caressed,

The night sky

shivers in a slowly

rising and falling

chest.

Celestial lights

Shine from behind

Flesh

Ghostly indigo

Crawls into the veins-

Features of the face brighten.

lids flicker

Revealing

Seraphic orchid eyes.

blood rises and

heats

Deeply pomegranate

Lips,

steamy breath

floats on

Biting breeze.

Gypsy skirts

Whirl,

The patterns spin

Like wheels

Suspended by darkness.

All has been absorbed within

and shines from the fingertips

as rays of sunlight.

inside this moment

spiders weave webs

of translucent chiffon

and their golden tears cling

to the threads...

Embrace,

Absorb

The starry night.
