Intellectualism

By Doc

Once upon a time, long long ago
A man walked into a building and saved the universe
He did this every day, and never knew it

"It is with great sadness, Mrs. Maam,
that your lover has fallen
and shant be returning to the mundane
he feared might become overwhelming."

He left the world to join the world
That read books by the lake
And absent mindedly fished
With God, Jesus, and Machiavelli

Who is to fault mediocrity for being so mediocre.
