The Car Ride
By stargaze0991
Staring out the window
heading home from the city
seeing mother and Robbie in the front seat
and seeing mom finally happy
He made a heart on the window
in the condensated fog
with her and his initials
traced beautifully smog
all the hurt in the last few years
seemed all worthwhile
when i heard mom singing loudly
her hand in his and her smile
Happiness like i never felt
I saw all my troubles end
in that car ride home
I knew we'd never go back again
- thank you Robbie for making my house i home again... i don't know if
i'll ever be able to repay you for what you've done for us... and mom i
love you... theres no bigger praise than that

You know, of all the things that youll find in this place, it is a rare day that you find some true honest hope. Its just so rare today, especially among this community, where to hope or be optomistic is commit some sort of shunned sin.
