the self-conceited woman

By missanthropic

i am the ego booster
men without confidence flock to me
as nerds and geeks do to star trek conventions
where they wait for leonard nimoy to
greet them like the vulcans they think they are

my shyness gives them courage
my modesty teases their egos out
from behind the scared little boys of their subconscious
from fucked up, overbearing mother issues
to the more tangible,
mierde filled day-to-day palaver

with every smile i give
i promise him he is special
each incident of my leg brushing against theirs
confirms an attraction they always sensed within themselves,
all the times i turn towards them and laugh
from my core after a joke or play on words
that the girls i'm priming them for would never get...
all the while i'm wondering
what are they priming me for...?

You've been primed...Your turn to reject and send to the wolves. You can smell the false dignity, the lie's which are not lie's quite yet. The skeletons might dance but not to the tune of your eyes merly the hips.; I smile at this piece. Thanks ~P~B~
