It Kept me Awake
By mywristshurt

Tears,
Are but another word.
Fears
Are the voices unheard.
Pain,
Is the feeling of lost glory.
Shame,
Is the look of unfaith.
Sad,
Is the used expression of sorrow.
Mad
Is the hateful word of tomorrow.
Heartbreaks,
Are the things that make us loose control.
Headaches
Are but a minor injury to the soul.
Life,
Can make everything worth while.
Strife
Can make the things turn over-mild.
Death,
Can finally mean the end.
Breath,
Can finally be a friend.
It kept me awake,
So which ones do I take?

Hm. Well structured. I tip my hat to your ability to tap your imperfect life for inspiration.

Does putting words to your feelings help them be less troubled? Sometimes mine do, not always. Loved this piece...great movement between each verse
