Little Girl

Little girl
With the wicked little eyes.
I don't want to see you fail,
I don't want to see you cry.

Little girl
With a frown upon her face.
I want to see you smile,
I don't want you to live in haze.

Little girl
With no light in her room.
Shielding her face from new-comers,
Living a life in doom.

Little girl
With cuts across her body.
I was almost sure
She wouldn't go that far.

Little girl,
Who's all skin and bones.
No nutrients for the blood,
Leaving full plates alone.

Little girl,
Who lives out in the ghetto.
She's got no one to turn to,
No family to greet with a hello.

I'm sorry,
Little Girl.
