Bloody Kisses

Kali walked slowly down the alleyway, looking around for any sign that
someone else was there. He said to meet him here. What could he possibly
want? She thought as she headed toward the albino standing in the shadows.
"Hello, Kali. Long time, no see, eh?" He said smoothly as he glided over
to her, much like a snake.
"What do you want, Blake? It's 2 in the damn morning." She said impatiently,
wanting to get back to Zane. He would start to worry if she stayed out
too long.
"What's the hurry? Zane won't care, he never cared." Blake said, catching
her eyes and not letting go, letting his mind control wash over her.
"No...that's...that's not true...he cares...he cares! ...Doesn't he?" Kali
said, growing unsure as Blake's mind control kicked in.
"Of course he didn't. He never had, he was just using you. Like everyone
else. But I won't use you, I love you Kali. I'm the one that understands
you, aren't I?" He asked her, as he put his arm around her and drew her
closer to him.
"I don't know if this is right...." She said as she started to resist his
control.
Just as she was about to break free, he pulled her into a kiss. When he
let go, he asked, "If this is so wrong, why does it feel so good?"
"I...I...don't know. Maybe it is right." She said as he regained his control.
They kissed for a moment longer, unbeknownst to Blake, during that kiss;
Kali was slowly getting her control back. As soon as Kali had regained
her control, her common sense came back to her.
"I shouldn't be doing this" Kali said as she pushed him away. "I'm sorry,
Blake. But you know I love Zane, not you. Not anymore."
"But I still love you, Kali." the albino pleaded back. "Please, just one
more tim-"
"NO!" Kali interrupted, screaming now. "You know I can't. It's been over
between us for years, and now you come crawling back, expecting me to forget
everything that's happened!? Trying to use your mind control when you know
I can resist it!? How stupid can you get!?"
"I need you, Kali. Now, more than ever. Can't you understand? Please, please."
"You need me now. You need me now. What about then, Blake? What about when
I needed you? You turned your back on me and walked away. You walked away.
And now I'm walking away from you, and I'm never turning back. And if you
follow me, I'll kill you; I'll drain you of every drop of blood in your
body. You know I can. You want me back only so I can protect you, and you
know it. So, don't even try. I'm going now, and you know what will happen
if you follow. So I expect you to turn around, and go right back where
you came and never return. Never. Understood?"
The albino nodded reluctantly as he got up and walked away, never looking
back on the woman, no, the vampire that he once loved. He would get her
back, he didn't how, or when, but he would make sure he would. No man touches
his property and lives.
