Bargaining With The Devil

By l mo

Dark thoughts fill your mind
As you leave your old world behind
As you set off on your way
You new life starts today

You grab your knife and your gun
Your old life is done
You bargained with the devil
Fill the world with evil

You sold your soul for immortality
A gift you've always longed for
Now no one can call you weak
The story about you spread around

You bargained with the devil
Some say your truly evil
To me your noble and brave
And I admire you from my grave

You bargained with the devil
And had to give more than you expected
You gave my life for yours
Your never-ending life

Some say your truly evil
But to me you are a saviour
From destruction you had saved me
But I had to pay a generous fee

I was down and I had fell
Then you sent me down to Hell
When you bargained with the devil
To fill the world with evil

You bargained with the devil
Some say your truly evil
But to me you're brave
I admire you from my grave
