(An Incoherent) Vision Of A Clairvoyant

By Liath

Clear the minds of the people
In the room
Wave the ruler around
And carry on with your lesson

Smack thy hand that steals
And smite thy soul that lies
Have mercy on the pure
Their peace and freedom are secure

Who are we to judge
Mere mortals in the rat race
Like everyone else living to drudge
We're all the same poor mind-fucked case

Who can look me in the eye
And tell me what they see
I will tell you what you deny
And show you how to find the key

"Teacher teacher, what's that on the blackboard"
"Tell us about it..."
"Teacher teacher, you're not the lord..."
"That is false, please don't shout it!"

Who can look me in the eye
And tell me what they see
I will tell you what you deny
And show you how to find the key

Most of us have long been dead
Last in line to be awakened
Come here and let me see
I'll empty your head of the useless, you'll see

Inside every one of us
Is imprisoned an ideal reality
Lord, over it we dream and fuss
We all wish to defeat the binds of causality

Who thinks they will be happy
Really am I the only one
Who has come to terms
Knowing that life burns
The soul and the soul comes undone
The desperate game to be happy is never won
