I try to hold back the pain,
As I choke on this reality,
Tears, like razorblades
I swallow whole,
Continuously cutting into me,
I fall to my knees in desperation,
Just wishing..
For you to be there,
To watch me profess..
My love to you,
In this deep pool of despair..
As I peel back my wounds,
To breathe these words,
That cause' my heart to ache,
You turn away..
In insincerity..
As I swallow another blade,
You fade into the darkness..
Disappearing out of sight,
I'm left lifeless and incomplete..
Only in death shall we reunite. . .
