The Tragedy and the Triumph
By mysticventures
There once was a child of light and spirit
who from heavens bosom was torn
dragged thru the gates of the living hell
and unto this life was born
The sprit bond now long forgotten
the light now dull and grey
replaced, succumbed and ego-driven
this soul has lost its way
This living hell is now his life
achieving pleasure now his goal
thru years of ego-driven urges
the living hell now takes its toll
Weakened in body and dying in spirit
he longs for something true
so he seeks redemption within himself
to find the life that he once knew
A weakened ego brings strength of spirit
with light both strong and bright
to never succumb to this living hell
find truth in spirit your only plight

It is well written , but it seems religious. May I ask, is it? No offence, I am just wondering. Please don't eat me!

the re-recognition, re-realization of our unification, our Oneness with the Light. Strength of Spirit plays key role in the battle for control between the ego and the soul. Superb achievement on a level of Truth with Divinity Itself.
