Army of None

By Zahgurim

Do I know you?
Generous in your passive ways
So simple minded
Smiles so engraved
On a hidden face
Untouched by the empty vessel
Rotting in the once new millenium

I once knew a man
So sorry to have left alone
In the closet
Taking shape from the pile of bones
Steps out into the light
To where I can't see
The man with the hatchets

I was once killed by a man
Through self-discovery
Reflection
He didn't like what he saw
Now the limbs have left the loved
The flesh abandoned the limbs
To take refuge in the empty.

It makes your mind whirl, and then it makes sense.

Damn!! I don't think you have it in you to write anything that sucks. This one gave me a strange feeling inside. Nice...
