articles of contentment

By missanthropic

the disappointed heart
should never speak its mind
lest the body should rebel
and say something unkind;
that might drum up all that drama
we’re unaware we are trying to find...
and...
never about money
should you argue with a friend
potent promises of hatred
breed torture to no end

silence shall and should be sought-
always on pathways unpreserved
and while walking with the wisest thoughts,
heeding pleasures of the soul
speak not rashly nor with a fool’s nerve
lest eternal deafness be the toll

(this is a work in progress and it seems to me that others might also have a few pearls to contribute. so, should you be so obliged as to share your wisdom, i would be most appreciative.)

Silence you should always seek. For only then, will you hear your soul. Seek the paths unkept. Pleasures aren't found without a toll. Walk always in wisdom. Speak not the fools role. (Feel free to play with the words. The rhythm isn't right.)
