To Cry

Sometimes you gotta cry just to cry,
Not cuz your tummy is in pain,
Not cuz you're going to die,
Just to keep you somewhat sane;

It's as if all those times,
You kept it deep down inside,
And just let out little rhymes,
Come out like it's the tide;

Nothing may be wrong,
But something just clicks,
And you stop singing the song,
And cry as if you're sick;

People keep asking if you're okay,
And you say that you're fine,
Even if that seems a bit gray,
And it seems there's no sunshine;

You just need to cry,
Cuz it's been too long,
And you may ask why,
Because it keeps you strong.
