forever

By missanthropic

let our roots knot
growing alongside and within each other
until we recognize the darkness of our winters,
and inhale the flowery splendors of our many springs
then, after the naked heat of suffocating summers
we will long for the early sunsets
and cool autumnal winds to blow us
through the years together
