There is something about a day like this.
A day where my eyes match the sky.

I am not sure I care that he may even care less.
A sentence that trailed off and died before it could break my heart.
These ears are keen and I knew what those words meant.
Ignorance as stone statues danced in puddles and tires swam across oceans.

It was a miserable day.
We both knew time had taken it's toll.
Pitter patter on the windows of his black Maxima.
Unforunate that I still wanted him in every way.
