Bullets, people, presidents, and me.

bullets keep flying,
and people keep dying,
presidents keep lying,
while i keep crying.

lost and forgotten
or hated and rotten
horrible and dreaded war
rekindles hardened sores.

bombs keep falling,
while congress keeps stalling,
this whole war is appalling,
while i keep bawling.

lost and forgotten
or hated and rotten

the enemy not to be hated
their deaths have been fated.
they fight for the same reasons as us
country... god... and lust.

bullets will continue to fly.
and people will continue to die.
the president will continue to lie.
and i will just sit here and cry.

until my beloved returns.

please return safely my brother.
