Insanity's Oubliette
By XCryingMinotaurX
fallen snow angels lay naked in pools of frozen blood with blue lips and
bleeding throats, turning away from panic stricken faces, running from
the riots seen in the eyes of the children.
tears would not even melt the coldest of hearts and they lay until their
lungs breath no more, hoping for death to be the bearer of better times.
betrayed by the emotion aptly named love because wanting relationships
over casual sex led to abandonment and mind games.
trying hard to turn the tables and walk away with the remnants of pride
while still glancing back and listening tentatively for a change.
tasting lips of the sweetest sins cause convulsions in the body that foreshadow
breaking hearts and slit wrists.
effort put into emptiness and hope given into fallacy while still yearning
for the warmth of arms that are not open. although blind eyes may eventually
realize the lack of respect shown to the beholder, pain will endure for
the lust of another night.
trying to move past recognition and into a better atmosphere to create
a connection in fluids only makes it harder to smile when given the chance
to laugh.
sometimes praying creates questions that pollute the mind and makes living
harder to do but it continues until bones turn to ash. the answers always
come in riddles, if they come at all, and while thinking blankly the body
slowly rots from the inside out.
wanting no part of this and throwing heart and soul into a cage, spinning
away from reality and life in search of something less suicidal.
should the chance arise that flesh no longer mourns the loss of touch,
these eyes will glow again but until then they grow dark under night's
lament.

you make your pain easily felt, and understanding of words, that share a story, through what it has been through, and what it has seen.
