Knowing you
By Silver Spectre
To taste every thing but not get addicted
To hold all of you and still let you go
To wonder about your mystery and refrain
From tainting the vision of you with definition
To touch the sacred places that you cherish
To live in those places and not do damage
To feel your words flow from your lips
To feel your breath and breathe you in
Is it so elusive, would you think it crazy,
To imagine such a thing in a world so lazy?
