Broken Upon the Shore
By RedWolf
The sea it hides a thousand deeds
Its depths will hide a thousand more
Songs of valour and tales of woe
Lie desolate on the ocean floor
Remains of those gone long before
Braving journeys on the endless waves
Or those that met a more grisly fate
Possessing a thing another man craves
The moon will rise and the tides will turn
Revealing bones stripped to the core
But theres nothing, just another shell
Washed up and broken upon the shore

I really enjoyed the concept of this. It's amazing how little of the ocean floor has been explored. I'm sure that over the next few thousand years these things will be found and maybe they'll think that those that came before them were curious explorers. Interesting read!
