The Architect

By RoseTheBrokenHearted

You created a wall,
A barrier in my head.
Filled with nothing other,
than thoughts and memories of you.
You built a home,
in the pit of my heart.
Close enough to the place,
you once lied.
You created a wall,
a structure of self-protecting;
to ward away all the bad,
except for from you.
You built my home,
in the warmth of your arms.
And buried me,
in the depths of your soul.
You created a wall,
to hide away my fears,
and store away my hope
