People Die
By midnights voice
.
.
People don't pass away
They certainly die
Nor do they rest in peace
In the ground they lie
And I should like to think
That they can't rest in peace
Until in everyone
Their memory has ceased
It's nature's way
of calling us back home
We kiss the stars tonight
Then our spirits roam

Interesting thoughts on mortality and immortality MV. Especially liked how we are not totally free until forgotten by all; and perhaps that is as it should be. Cheers my friend! - Dan

a thoughtful piece... will our lives have counted for nothing when we fade into the ages? who will remember us when the generational clock keeps ticking? certainly no one past the second or third generation after our passing... sad... ~worm~
