foot in the grave

By molock

it's how you finish,

when you play the

game.

got my crosses to

bear,

to cleanse my soul

today...

the pendulum swings,

as time slips away.

the more things change,

the more they stay the

same.

traveling down this winding

road,

sometimes a sinner,

other times a saint.

in between black and

white,

...living in the grey.

got one foot in this world,

the other in the grave....

throw myself in the fire,

pray for baptism by rain.

thought i got it right,

...but karma fueled the

flame.

living and dying are one

in the same.

take a breath,

exhale....

another second slips away.

living in the moment,

in a precarious way.

got one foot in this world,

the other in the grave....
