I don't want you to go

By Angelic Darkness

I told you the truth, "Give me the proof."

I voice my desire, "Let it burn in the fire"

End of my rope, "Atleast you'll throw off my yoke"

And all your lies mean naught? "This is what you wrought."

Face streaming with tears, "All smoke and mirrors."

Please see the proof in my eyes, "I don't want the lies."

Don't tear us apart," You've torn out my Heart. "

Give it time, " Not that same old line. "

It's all about my sin, " Guess I'll never win. "

I have nothing left to say, " You always wanted it this way. "

I don't want us to end, "I'll still be your friend."

So one last lie? "I guess this is goodbye."
