No window l+l
By Deathkitten
Outside the window
there are stories held
through oak trees
& an overgrowth of weeds
When there's less sun light
& new fall breeze
releasing them; setting them free
In floating leaves
Often seeming like a loop
No parallel
A mystery
that will never fail
to amaze
& draw interest
in a particular design
Interrelating
through space & time
Entangled
but delightfully just
Leaving odds & ends
to imagination & such
So we dream
or find it within the mist
Behind that window
sits a life form
Intelligent & understanding
& no matter the experience
or stories it's told
It will still wonder
as it grows old
how much it misses
when winter chills
aching bones
& a heart of gold
As an angel kisses
She says, "hello"
Welcoming her to
a new home
with no window

This brought up some quite beautiful imagery in my head, serene and calming. Love the sight of leaves being carried by the wind.
