Dissociative? Maybe
By Deathkitten
If you could see the anguish inside
Feel the wrath of provoked spite
Catch the wandering, red, jagged lines
Hear my crucial thoughts
Taste my putrid soul
If you could only imagine
Like you would ever know
The emptiness in my belly
from starvation & stubborness
The lack of socialization
The depersonalization
Distortion sets in
Not knowing
which way to begin or end
This mood swing i'm in
Swaying to & fro
Between caring
and I don't know
but it's overwhelming
Dissociative? Maybe
I think you should go

Horrible when ones own emotions are uncontrollable and so are the things people do to regain control of them. Strange what people will resort to to regain control of things, of anything. This write is much like a whirl pool, pulling you deeper and deeper below the depths.

nice poem, you sound a little flustered. when you write you have the ability to move people, you do me, and I love that. I love that I can feel your mood. that's why I love poetry so much. I love people and everybodys different and through words were individuals. your sassy and brilliant jess! and I love it. awesome!

I have been a bit flustered lately. I like poetry for many reasons & that is one of them. I love it when readers can "feel me". Thanks, Todd :)
