J'adore ta haine

By With love_Crow

In our tongues, we hold life and death

And we’ve used the both to resurrect

Inflict, Infect, Protect, Reject

Sharpened both sides with lethal intent

For when kind words turn inside out

And hushed whispers become outright shouts

The storm is high above the clouds

Precipitation pushes us to higher ground

Whose thunder is the loudest now?

Whose lightning knocks the other down?

Who causes the other to wane?

Recoil back as though in pain

Shattered glass and broken frames

Trading vows for swears and games

Endearments for distasteful names

Be blameless in the sport of shame

Bend them backwards till they admit

They love the hate you seem to give

Lips meet and tangle, swords collide

Push and pull them like the tide

Wipe away tears you made them cry

The scars you dealt during your high

Back down to earth, we love again

Until the urge comes back times ten

Once the monster has you in its grasp it waxes and wanes in a rhythm unknown perhaps. For example the title means "I adore your heiny" in English (HA!) - one of your best, seriously WLC, thanks.
