Insomniac Nonsense

The night is late

and the rain pours

I have sleep beat

I know my score

To close my eyes

will waste my time

so awake I will be

till the sun it climbs

Little daydreams

run through my head

like a dog that left home

I thought were dead

Here comes the sandman

just in time

I am afraid that

I must end this rhyme.
