I lose myself
Among her double sided mirrors
Never knowing which reflection
Would cause me to refract
Satin lips painted
The color of danger
I can hear them like a siren
Commanding me to react
The translucent silver
Of crystalized vanity
Traps me in her image
Roughly bold and abstract
The worlds behind her glass
Like the hazel of her eyes
Beckons me to run away
But continues to attract
A collage of imaginings
Pull me in all directions
Je t’aime this tug of war
Je déteste it more than that
The dimensions of her echo
Lethal but appearing kind
Cut away at all my senses
And I suddenly retract

Guessing that you were looking at yourself maybe, with the eyes of another. You could have taken a narcissistic turn, but didn't, well done!

Not sure what the French was doing in the second to last stanza, but it was quirky and unexpected in the best way possible, just like this piece. Nicely done.
