from a distance.

By jodeanna

 You are
so very
beautiful.

I find it easier to
love you from afar.

From a distance,
you are magnificent;
a towering lord of the
smoothest marble.
You make me feel
quite small.

I quiver at
the thought of
you touching me.

From a great distance,
you can't disappoint me
enough to cause resentment
that builds and evenually
spills over the cup
into puddles of
disdain.

I would hate
to hate you.

To love from afar, safer that way and very well expressed, thanks and welcome again to DP!
