Afraid of the Mirror
By TheCreepIngCrow
I keep no mirrors around.
The scars on my heart have barely healed.
I don't want to see my disgrace.
The cure to my pain not found.
It is not in my circumstance.
It is not in my stitches.
Rather
my dispostition.
My blue eyes teared above the line.
Every night
they spill,
Disturbing the moonlight.
I keep no mirrors around.
I'm afraid of what I'll see.
A bruised heart that wil show through
my face.
A trapped soul who wants free.
Maybe it's time to face
my self.
To look past the scars.
To excoriate the pain.
Maybe
it's time I forget my fear.
And admit that I'm a star.
Where's
my mirror?

That's the spirit, be nice to yourself because it's a cold, cruel world out there - Thanks.
