My Mind Is A Prison

By Antigeist

My Mind Is A Prison

Im a Empty Carcass Sealed in this Tomb

Cut off from the world

Awaiting the day i can rise again

My  Limbs Brittle and Frail

Too Weak to pry myself out

So i just lye here in my Empty Thoughts and Broken Dreams

My Mind grows Bitter with each thought of my past lives

Hopeing for the day i can walk with the liveing once again

I can feel the thick Blackness encase my soul

This everlasting confinement has taken its toll

On the outside i look normal and healthy

inside im bound gaged and blindfolded gasping for life

Wow. I'm taken aback by this. The vividness you described everything with, its breathtaking. I love the way you've weaved the thoughts in here together. An almost animal madness but described in the subtlest way, to where it seems calm, inviting, almost sensual. Maybe thats just me. I don't know, but whatever it is about this piece, I love it. Best write yet. Rock on!!
