There you go again, off into the dark night.
I know I’ll see you again, but it doesn’t help.
My smile… turns to frown.
My feelings… turn upside down.
There you go again…
And all I can do is watch.
You’ll leave, and I will be alone.
My bleak, meaningless routine will re-commence.
Work, sleep, work, sleep, over and over…
Somewhere in-between, trying to find time to do,
All the things I want to, but always everyday,
I wait for you, I wait for you to come back to me.
Come back, you help make me feel sane,
Or should I say “insane”, considering when you’re around,
I feel more…
“In” my sanity, when I’m with you, I feel whole.
I don’t feel like I’m slipping,
Slipping out of sanity’s reach…

“Outsane”…
When I’m with you, I don’t feel crazy.
I feel like I belong…
You make me feel strong…
So I wait, I wait to see your beautiful face.
Wait to hear your voice…
Wait to feel your touch…
Wait to hold you…
