Gothic Love

By Woes of a Succubus

A sweeping black gown,

And a cloak with a hood,

Black lips wear a frown,

Wouldn't smile if they could.

Dark eyes lift to meet your gaze,

Black hair frames the face,

Your eyes adjust to the eerie haze,

The dress is trimmed with blackest lace,

Waiting for you in this wasteland,

Now caressing your face with a pale hand.

Long black nails,

Trace your lips,

Pull back the veils,

A black tear drips,

From the corner of my eye,

Like ink, it runs and leaves a streak,

I tried not to cry,

But life without you is so bleak.

Don't be afraid to touch this cold skin.

Hold me closer,

Breathe my scent in.

Let your own heartache show,

Kiss me slow,

Tell me what you fear,

If you need me I am here.

For I long to heal you,

And show you I care,

My words are true,

I'll always be there.

I've been waiting for you in this land of gloom,

In this graveyard posessed by certain doom,

As we continue to kiss,

Solemnly vow,

To remember this,

Our love right now.
