Masquerading Eden
By Ladyhawke
Lost within the mirror of time
Eternity within the shallow of a breath
Panicking for life in a merciless death
The essence
of a troubled soul
Condemning madness as it's favorite poison
Hearing
my own grave and feeling the ground moisten
Masquerading
as an Eden
Hidden behind the mask of eternity
Fleeing the destruction
awaiting in me
Degradation and destruction
Making
the air cause vanity and violence
Enveloping my mind, breaking my
silence
And with a wordless entreaty
Watching lifes
war, and hoping death wins
My sweet surrender of a life full of sins

May that friend rest with these words you have fantasticly penned. Insightful strokes of true and benevolent emotion inking out onto the pages of the soul.
Thank you My Dear Lady

You maintained the flow even with 3 lines in a stanza! You kept me with you! Nice work! I like it! Sometimes I also feel the way you do. Defeated, all hope lost, not wishing to live any more. What can I do? MOVE ON!

Love the form, asymmetric stanzas worked well with the content. Even if it was just the first two lines it would be an amazing piece... Very well written, again. *tips hat*
