i fell hard

By SourInnocence

I fell and I fell hard
No one can pick me up
Dust me off and send me along.
And that’s all I want
Maybe need.
So I’ll just lie here
In this hole of self-pity
In this face down position
I know too well.
The tears will flood
And I’ll drown
Still waiting.
