Under a Lycan Moon

By Leith Plunkett

When I look into your eyes
it feels like I could make a wish
To wish
To dream
To lay in your arms
for a thousand days of night

Forheads pressed
Elemental fires in my chest
The warmth of my breath
your lips of glacier blue

In a meadow
where stars fall like snowflakes
Surrounded by slumbering giants
paled under moonlight
I can no longer tell which is dream

To wish
To dream
To lay in your arms
for a thousand days of night
