switch

By Beautiful Incidental

catastrophic color switch -
even the clouds look diseased.
she's standing before me -
her naked truth surrendering...

where is that quicksand depression?
she balanced the edge - didn't fall in.
the air around us - what's that hue -
grey and black -highlighted with blue...

when did her eyes become green metallic?
or is that an attribute i devised
to counteract a former conception -
initiation of a new inception ...

i tried to paint a portrait -
but liquid memories just wouldn't do -
green eyes come closer -
challenge my self-defined composure...

she handed me the colors i missed -
the red, the orange, yellowish -
and incidentally her intrepidness
dissolved my benevolence...

 catastrophic color switch -
now the clouds are intrigued.
she's standing beside me -
disrobing the mystery...setting me free.
