A Beautiful Woman
By Malcholm Dark
A
marriage arranged at birth
To a woman whom I never met
O,
such a beautiful woman!
And though, I know her not
O, such
a beautiful woman!
In the grandness of style we walk
Beneath flowered halls of beauty
Bound forever, together in wedlock!
Yet still, I know her not
O, such a beautiful woman!
The reception truly magnificent
People gather by the thousands
To see the beauty of this woman!
A beauty, I know not
O,
such a beautiful woman!
Our lust did tell of passions
kept
On a night of consummation and wine
A midnight rain whispers
her name!
I take this woman, I know not
O, such a beautiful
woman!
As sunrise breaks the mountain brow
And
casts a light within my chamber
On a woman unclothed, yes exposed!
Her veil gone, the wine worn off
O, such a monumental mistake!
Who is beast, I know not
O, such an ugly, ugly woman!
God help us!
\/
.
.
.
As men, we often
lose sight
Of the prize that awaits us
A prize within our
very grasp!
Their heart and soul, we know not
O, such is the
beauty of women!

Reminds me of a pick up line, "Here's ten bucks. Drink til I'm pretty, then come talk to me." Lol.

As it's said "money talks", and it must have had a persuasive argument. The veil should have stayed on I guess lol. I would do the same thing perhaps, if the price was right. Well done again Dark, another amusing work.
