On Beauty

By Miztaken4beauty

Would you save me,
From my dreams?
Could you hold me,
When I scream?
And when my words
are ambiguous at best,
And when I put you,
through insecure tests,
Will you look
deep within,
Beneath my mask,
beneath my skin,
See the lies
I never told,
For a wretched soul,
I've already sold,
and still tell me,
[Beauty]
isn't only skin deep?

Well writen, deep thought. When reading aloud I tripped up at the last few lines but other than that I thought it flowed perfectly. Great job. Scholar
