Burn
By Deaths Apostle
Though I see you doubt our love,
It still exists.
I'm afraid
to say, I must leave you now,
As our city burns
Even in this hour, dark as it is
I see you weep for me
All
alone in this city, large as it is
I hear you call for me
Now they have reached our wall,
And now I fear, it is time,
Time for us all to burn
I only hope you will remember me,
I beg you to remember me,
I need you to remember me,
As the
city burns, my heart shall burn
The ashes of my heart
blow away,
They are blown away,
Now the wind will give these
ashes,
Blow these ashes back to you

Beautiful poem. Sad when love changes, hurts when it burns to the ground. Great expression. =)

can't say I know the tune, but these sound like lyrics. I like the slow development, the repetition, the pace or tempo of the words. Soft, yet apocalyptic.
