Lost in words

I escape with the stroke

Of my pen

Words I see

Messages Ive heard

All of the times

Way back when

Years go by

Time runs off

My focus returns

To thee

For the poet I knew

The friend I lost

Was all the time

Calling for me

You words are clear

Blind was i

To not see

What was there to read

For I broke your heart

And its so easy to see

That in my world

Its you that I need

And If I took the time

To see the pain

That came from depths

Of your heart

I would have known

What I did to you

Would leave us
