A River Ran Through It

By Doc

A River ran though it
No wait
Just a mere creek
Swirling forward
In the ever-living existence
Of eternity.

An Oak sat on this river
Excuse me
Creek
Fallen down from its worldly structure
Split by the power of the Gods
Reported by a weatherman.

A pond ran through it
No wait
Maybe a river
Existence of blood contaminated
by Life
No wait
The New World's life
let still serenity
Here lives
In this existential place
Of Love and Death
An old man may walk
Through it
Seeing the river
Or the pong
Feeling the pain of the old
Oak world
And then he will see
That through all of it
From here till Eternity
A river tan through it
No wait
