what doesn't matter any more
By freudian-slip
She walks
without leaving a trail left behind her
for which to return
from what has already come and gone
in preparation for what will be no more
she circles around
in a swirling loss
without regret for what is going to happen
for certain people
that have fallen
are often unable to forget
the memories they should have forgotten
for knowing more
than how to place a bullet in the chamber
would be such a tragic thing
to never remember
