A Simple Search Function

By steuss

I’m forced to idle.
Divert my attentions to myself.
I define my self goals,
And only one resolves out of mists:
Find Love.

Simple, yeah, simple.
Find Love.
Pluck it out of life.
Choice myself into action
And find it.

Find Love.
Find it.

Oh, yea. So simple. I must be fucking up my query search royally.. damn, that 4 letter word. Glad to see this pop up on POTD, grats.

There's no genies in lamps, and love requires some effort on your part. I like the line "Pluck it out of life," as if you're plucking out a petal from a flower. A simple, "say it like it is" poem. Beautiful work.

Simple to find many forms of it, but the truest form is rarely so easy to come across. I liked this piece
