A Simple Search Function
By steuss
I’m forced to idle.
Divert my attentions to myself.
I define
my self goals,
And only one resolves out of mists:
Find Love.
Simple, yeah, simple.
Find Love.
Pluck it out of
life.
Choice myself into action
And find it.
Find
Love.
Find it.

Poems that "just say it" are, in my experience, rare. Putting the simple fact out there that love might not, or most probably, will not, come to you automatically. There's no genies in lamps, and love requires some effort on your part. I like the line "Pluck it out of life," as if you're plucking out a petal from a flower. A simple, "say it like it is" poem. Beautiful work.

Simple to find many forms of it, but the truest form is rarely so easy to come across. I liked this piece

Ah the quest for the holiest of grails. Even in brevity I find your word selection expressive of a longer tale.
