Murder Is The Sweetest Revenge

By insanemonroe

A tear slowly ran down her face, burning her cheek like the flames of a fire

Looking up she said enough, she slowly picked herself off the floor

She reached for the dresser drawer

She quickly pulled out a butcher knife

Snuck up behind him while he showered not to be overpowered

And made him fight for his life

She had, had enough of his abuse

The constant misuse

She would get her revenge tonight

With a quick slash oh so slight

She watched the blood flow from his throat

She waited as he gurgled upon it covering him in a red coat

A grin upon her face as he struggled and fell to the floor

This abuse this torcher was over, his heart beat no more

She laughed and sighed lied down and cried

She giggled and whispered "murder is the sweetest revenge"

It make me feel happy for her honestly. The way you wrote this was great the way throughout the entire work you feel her pain, and that mixed with the overall tension of the words, make for an excellent climactic ending.
