cycle breaking and other illusions

By freudian-slip

Once upon a time,
there was a girl-
who flinched whenever anyone came near her face.

Back in the day,
there was a family-

picture perfect in it's dysfunction,

and everything in it's place.

Six of one,
half a dozen of another,

No matter how you slice it-

time can not erase,

and some things never change.
